We never thought we'd see the day when a Jenni Kayne collection would feature hip-length gold chains... and we really mean chains — there are piles of 'em! It's an unexpected, yet most welcomed, twist for the L.A.-based designer, maker of the ubiquitous, criminally-chic d'orsay flat in every color and texture, whose creations have become synonymous with clean minimalism and on-trend touches.

Yet, in addition to these awesome, bling-bling flourishes, Kayne's Resort '14 offerings have stayed true to what we know and adore. If you look beneath the gold, you'll find beautifully pared-down looks that render the final result utterly modern and unexpected. Other highlights include a most delightful fuchsia and bordeaux pairing, a charming bralette-and-pencil-skirt combo, a sharp tux-inspired jumpsuit, and the ideal white trench for summer. Click on through to view some of our favorite looks from the collection — it's a real showstopper!
