Now, these are two women we wouldn't mind having over for dinner on the reg, shooting the breeze until the wine is gone and our abs hurt from laughing too much. The Heat's leading ladies, Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, sat down with Parade and interviewed each other, discussing everything from their fear of being bad mothers to what their version of the man-cave would look like.
Bullock said, "If we had a beer den, with Barcaloungers — but our version of that — it’d be great." "There'd be fabric swatches everywhere. And reclaimed wood," added McCarthy. Ladies, we haven't officially met, but where's our invite to this man-free zone of good design and delicious beer?
The movie's director, Paul Feig, is quick to note that the two were "inseparable…normally after movies, those friendships go away. Theirs blossomed.” Like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's friendship, McCarthy and Bullock's goes to show that whether you're dodging the paparazzi or grinding your way through the 9-to-5, you can't make it through life without your best girl for support — even if she does make fun of you, unrelentingly. Now, about that woman-cave... (Jezebel)
