The Next Step In Indie-Rock Stardom? A Fragrance, Of Course

fleetfoxes
Ah, celebrity perfumes. Beyoncé has Heat. Jennifer Lopez has Glow. And, of course, Father John Misty has Innocence.
Wait, what?
Believe it: These days, even indie rockers are delving into the fragrance world, albeit in a smaller and more artsy way. Former Fleet Foxes member Josh Tillman — now known by his solo name, Father John Misty — has partnered with Los Angeles-based perfumery Sanae Intoxicants to create a scent for women. (This isn't the first music-meets-fragrance endeavor for Sanae Intoxicants, which was behind the Bonnie 'Prince' Billy scent.) Available for pre-order, Innocence is a limited-edition fragrance with sweet orange oil, Tunisian neroli, mimosa absolute, violet absolute, jasmine grand, bourbon vanilla, and linden blossom. Sounds pretty good, and definitely more appealing than the questionable odors we usually run into at a show. (Pitchfork)
