Here in NYC, we take our burgers very seriously, especially when it comes to defending our beloved Shake Shack. After all, what other delicacy could compel us to wait in line under the hot sun for hours? But now, there's a new sandwich in town, poised to take over NYC's top (greasy) spot.
The iconic, all-American Fatburger chain will be opening its very first Big-Apple outpost on June 11. While you may scoff at the idea of anyone being able to touch Danny Meyer's fine edibles, be warned that this sammie has special features — namely, grilled-to-order patties and strategically layered toppings meant to ensure the ultimate bite combination. Whether or not the new shop stacks up remains to be seen, but we suggest you taste-test next week.
