Is there anything lovelier than a cup of tea accompanied by a scone smothered in clotted cream? Not really. And that is why we’re giving thanks to Balthazar for adding afternoon tea to their list of enviable dining options.
Head pastry chef Régis Beauregard devised the menu, and it is really rather wonderful. Think classic cucumber sandwiches, freshly baked scones with the aforementioned Devonshire clotted cream, and rose-infused macaroons to name but a few. There is a choice of teas and, of course, Champagne, as well. The service is available from Monday to Friday. We may just have to make it our go-to spot for meetings from now on. Care to join us?
