The folks behind Downton Abbey announced last week that they've cast the first black character to star in season four of the hit series. According to Sean Diddy Combs, however, they've somehow forgotten that he was the first black character to join Downton. Diddy took to his Twitter yesterday to provide the "proof." Shortly thereafter, WGBH, a Boston broadcasting company, shut it down, saying the evidence was "very funny, but it's simply not true."
True or not, Diddy's Downton debut is...unique. Between him mistakenly calling it Downtown, shamelessly admitting he's loved almost everyone in the Abbey, and calling out Maggie Smith's sass, the spoof will have you puzzled, intrigued, and — if you're like us — wishing this was an actual episode.
