New Coen Brothers Film Serves Up Unrecognizable Justin Timberlake & Carey Mulligan

Whether or not you are sick of Carey Mulligan post-Gatsby, you must admit: It is impossible to ever, ever get tired of the Coen Brothers. Instead of time-traveling or heading to the unfamiliar, the director duo's most recent film follows a struggling folk musician through the small, intimate music scene in the East Village. After seeing her with short hair and Prada glam, Mulligan is virtually unrecognizable as a stern-faced brunette with long hair. Another hard-to-catch star is fellow folk guitarist Justin Timberlake — who we would believe the Coens would have never cast unless he was perfect.

The movie looks gorgeous, and since the Coens are actual Oscar catnip, who knows how this'll play out? What if Mulligan got a nod for this and Great Gatsby?
