Street View: Graffiti Art Gets The Gallery Treatment At Fred Segal

Queen-Amy-Orange-300
From the illustrious Met Ball to the historic Yves Saint Laurent Mondrian collection, we're suckers for a good fashion and art collaboration. So, naturally, we're stoked that Lab Art, the nation's largest street art gallery, has taken up residence at one of our favorite shopping haunts, Fred Segal in Santa Monica.
The new 2,000-square-foot gallery will showcase over 100 unique pieces by 19 different artists, including Alec Monopoly and Thank You X. To celebrate, Minx Society will be hosting a fete — nosh provided by Umami Burger; drinks by Clover Juice, Beluga Vodka, and Aqua Hydrate; and beats by DJ Keith 2.0. Just remember to RSVP here for this heavenly merging of culture and style! And, definitely check out the e-shop where original pieces are available for the taking.
When: Thursday, April 18, 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Fred Segal Santa Monica, 500 Broadway (near 5th Street); 310-458-8100.
