Jada Pinkett-Smith doesn't step out too often, but when she does, she does it right. The star showed up in a gorgeous, forward-thinking yellow gown at the New York premiere of the groundbreaking Shola Lynch documentary Free Angela and All Political Prisoners , and boy, did she have us ready for some warm weather!
Though the sunny color might be slightly out of sync with the film's heavy subject — in which civil rights leader and former Black Panther affiliate speaks out for the first time about her arrest and branding as a "dangerous terrorist" — we're not complaining. Her presence, along with husband Will Smith, Liya Kebede, and Davis herself, has already helped catapult the movie into the public eye. So, it's a good thing Jada had her trusty, on-trend strappy sandals and box clutch on hand for the paparazzi!
