7 Totally Free (& Fun!) Things To Do In D.C. This Spring

National Cherry Blossom Festival
Take advantage of the last official day of the festival (that'd be today) and brave the crowds at the Tidal Basin to peep this year's blooms before they're gone.
Various locations; see more info here.

Faking It at the National Gallery of Art
Thought Photoshopped images started with models and glossy mags? Think again: This exhibition features 200 works that show how artists have been digitally altering their images since the beginning of photography.
National Gallery of Art, 4th Street and Constitution Avenue NW; 202-737-4215.

Artisphere Jazz + Mixers
Every Thursday, Rosslyn's Artisphere hosts free live jazz performances from 5:30 to 8 p.m., and you can expect everything from multi-piece bands to solo artists. Tonight, catch the Brad Linde Quartet doing improvisational jazz inspired by the likes of Charlie Parker and Thelonious Monk.
Artisphere, 1101 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington; 703-875-1100.
