Fresh from Christopher Bailey’s moment of glory at last month’s London Fashion Week, it has been announced that Burberry menswear will now show at the London Collections: Men. Oh, happy days.
For over ten years, the menswear label’s runway show has taken place in Milan, but as the designer says, “The country’s proud menswear heritage and outstanding contemporary talent give it a unique and powerful energy. It is a wonderful time to be bringing our menswear show home.” We couldn’t agree more. It is always a pleasure to see labels return to the country that sparked their creativity in the first place. The schedule will be announced in April and the collections will take place June 16 to 18. We’re buzzing in anticipation already. (WWD)
