Finally! It's been too long since Sofia Coppola's last flick — and goodness knows, in the post-Harry Potter wasteland, we're all looking for more Emma Watson. We caught the trailer for the pair's new movie The Bling Ring, and all we have to say is we want more. From the pounding guitar riffs to the selfie-worthy dance moves, the trailer unfolds into a collage of burglary, partying, and expensive teenage rebellion — all seen through Coppola's delicate, stylized lens.
This is certainly the year of good girls going bad, kicking it off with Selena Gomez in this month's Spring Breakers. Now Emma Watson stars front and center in this new film based on a true story about a group of L.A. teens who, for a brief period, robbed the houses of numerous Hollywood stars. Watson plays the part of real-life ringleader Alexis Neiers. Between 2008 and 2009, Neiers broke into the homes of stars such as Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan. Spoiler alert: The group got caught and wound up behind bars for a brief stint, but that's the boring stuff. It looks like Coppola's focus is on the seemingly invincible, halcyon period in the life of the bling ring — and with this all-star director at the helm, we're guessing it's going to look as great as it sounds.
