Big kudos to Vibe on getting the inside skinny on this one. Well done. According to the mag's just-released article and interview, Ms. Claire Boucher (a.k.a. the Canadian musical and stylistic curiosity Grimes) has cooked up a capsule collection of illustrated T-shirts for Hedi Slimane's Saint Laurent. According to Boucher, Slimane suggested that she — a talented illustrator in her own right — draw five designs for his forthcoming spring/summer '13 menswear collection after they met during their cover shoot for Dazed & Confused. Based on Yves Saint Laurent's own "love posters," the dark, delicious goods are already on sale at Luis Via Roma for any guy (or gal) interested.

So, does this mean that Grimes — who's already dabbled in fashion through some very interesting accessories designs — is aiming to launch her own label? "Hell Ya," she tells Vibe, "but probably not until I'm at least two more albums in. I kind of want to make a line of chain mail in the short term though." Chain mail? Okay, sign us up.

Visit Vibe for more details and click through the slideshow for the designs. (Vibe)
