First Look: Take A Tour Of The New Vera Wang Store!

We’ve been particularly fortunate on the retail front as of late. With a slew of major store openings in S.F., we’re rapidly becoming an untouchable shopping destination on the West Coast. So, when we heard about our city’s latest addition, we just about flipped our lids. We’ve been waiting on the edge of our seats for the indisputable Queen of Bridal, Vera Wang, to hit the S.F. scene. Now that moment has officially arrived, and just in time for nuptial season, we might add.
This is the first boutique in the Bay Area for leading wedding-gown purveyor Wang. Considering her love for S.F., it’s no surprise she decided upon settling into the 4,640-square-feet space (in the former Jessica McClintock store) overlooking all of Union Square. “It’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world,” says Wang. We really can’t argue with her there. The modern space presents a stark backdrop for the beautifully crafted dresses to really sing. The dark, concrete floors, walls, and large glass windows provide a sleek canvas for the intricate detailing of each garment. We toured the brand new spot in all of its understated, elegant glory and scored a handful of snaps of the gorgeous gowns and expansive layout. Get ready to gush!
