Argo: Boarding House
Sure, Argo — the Ben Affleck film that centers on a hostage crisis — is mostly set in Tehran. But, some of the characters in the film pose as a Canadian film crew, and we’ve been dying to try out the suddenly ubiquitous poutine. The Canadian comfort dish features prominently on the menu of Alpana Singh’s new hot spot Boarding House, so that’s where you’ll find us after our Affleck fix. The gorge restaurant serves chicken, lobster, and good old-fashioned poutine. We’ll be the ones with a group of pals, several forks, and a piping-hot order of each.
