Oh, how we have missed Zach Galifianakis' hilarious/cringeworthy public-access talk show/Funny Or Die celebrity showcase, "Between Two Ferns." There just aren't enough places to see bearded comics sexually harassing Natalie Portman's dog these days.
But fortunately, Galifianakis has brought back all that brilliance for a special two-part "Oscar Buzz Edition." Setting up his minimalist studio at the Academy Awards luncheon, Galifianakis collected quite the cast of willing Oscar nominees for the first episode — Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts, Christoph Waltz, Anne Hathaway, and Amy Adams.
Naturally, the awkwardness is of a fine vintage. (Zach Galifinakis: "That's off-putting." Jennifer Lawrence: "You should be off pudding. 'Cuz you're fat." And another: "Have you ever thought of changing your name to Cristoph Breakdance?") Click on the video above to see Watts discuss diarrhea, Hathaway do her best drunkface, and Lawrence be a grade-A beyotch. Really, how can the Oscars hope to match this?
