Khakis And Cupid? Banana Republic Collabs With Match.com

BR
Face it: Every time you pick up a new pair of sensible slacks, you're secretly hoping an equally sensible man will notice your butt. Right? No? You just need pants because you're not about to start dressing like this every day? Well, that's okay. There's still a lot to love about casual workwear brand/former Mad Men partner Banana Republic's collaboration with Match.com for its latest ad campaign.
A number of models and bloggers were chosen to loll around and "exude optimism" with their real-life beloveds, kids, and pets "on a lighthearted set filled with heart-shaped props, roses and décor, such as an oversized paper heart cut out and a lush heart-shaped shrub made of red roses." Shrubbery aside, the campaign is actually pretty cute. Blogger Joy Cho of Oh Joy! is also a major feature, and she'll be recreating her first date with her now-husband on the brand's Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pages with the hashtag #BRlove.
But there's more! You, too, can fall in love while enjoying the comfort and class of knit separates at one of these Banana Republic x Match.com "After Hours" events. Of course, it's for Match members only, and there will only be eight of these mysterious events — in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago. We're not quite sure exactly what will go down during these meet-ups, but we imagine it will be something like a slightly more chic version of this.
