It's looking like Jennifer Lawrence's press parade will continue well into Oscars season — and we're okay with that! She's a real charmer in interviews, naturally photogenic, and the kind of star with the rare ability to deliver quotes that sell copies and endear the reader. Her latest interview with W is no exception, and is definitely a good read for fans of Katniss and Silver Linings, alike. JL sat down with the glossy in between multiple photoshoots and an appearance on Ellen, taking just enough time to share her psychic ability to detect lies and her 18-hours-a-night sleep schedule ("I'm not that crazy," she clarifies, "but I'm an artist").
But the real gem here is the photo. Exhibit A: Jennifer Lawrence's hair. Or, we should say, wig. The image is proof of the article's point that she can completely absorb any character. This oddly robotic stepford wife, who appears to hail from the uncanny valley, is a far cry from the bold, strong-willed Jennifer we know. The Donald Trump wig isn't exactly flattering, but it fits the part (no pun intended) — and judging by her convincingly miserable facial expression, she seems to agree! (W)
