There was once a time — before Jenna Lyons took the helm — when a J.Crew catalogue was notably free of the frills and frippery we love today. No striped leopard-print blazers with Lulu Frost jewelry, toothpick boyfriend-slouch skinny jeans, tortoiseshell hair clips, and Edie bags. Just good ol' fashioned Americana — chinos, cable-knit sweaters, and models "playing" football. But, despite what you'd think, those khakis didn't sell themselves! Luckily, back in 1998, the boys and girls of Dawson's Creek were there to help out.

Buzzfeed uncovered this gem (now available on eBay for an exciting Buy It Now price of $124.99) yesterday. Catch Pacey, Dawson, Joey, and Jen as they do things in bucket hats, cargo jeans, and the occasional mock turtleneck. Take note and study up with our favorite picks from this truly unbeatable photo shoot — then click on through to Buzzfeed for the rest. (Buzzfeed)
