We've heard every trick in the book — rabbits' feet, horseshoes, heck, one star even admitted she relies on a lucky set of panties every time she's up for an award. But, it looks like Ben Affleck (who was snubbed an Oscar nom for Best Director) hit the red carpet for last night's Critics' Choice Awards with a new take on the superstitious tradition.
Clad in a dapper suit and polished shoes, Affleck took his walk down the rouge rug with his hands deep within his pockets. Naturally, we assumed that this was the Argo star's signature pose for the evening. But, when he received his awards (for Best Director and Best Film!) he revealed that his hands were scribbled with doodles, likely from his adorable daughters, Violet and Seraphina. Not only does this dude do school runs and host field trips to Brentwood Country Mart, he also lets his kids tattoo his knuckles with a ballpoint pen. Excuse our crassness, but is there an award for Best DILF? Because Affleck would win that one, hands down! (Daily Mail)
