And, the sure to be best seller would naturally include an entire chapter on his mother, a.k.a. the lovely lady he took as his date to the L.A. premiere of Gangster Squad. The mama-as-your-plus-one is the oldest charm-trick in the book, but leave it to Gosling to one-up every dude who has done it before.
