Well, this is nice. It seems the famously rocky relationship between Courtney Love and her 20-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain (pictured), hit a smooth patch recently. Through Twitter, Love offered a sweet, totally sane Christmas message to Cobain. "Merry Christmas Bean!! Love you more than you could ever know. Xmamma." Surprisingly, Cobain actually answered back, momentarily breaking the communications blackout between the two. "@Courtney merry Christmas kooksmcgee," Cobain wrote.
Now, these are just tweets and, yes, there's a hint of snark in Cobain's message. But still, seeing a mother and daughter who've publicly hurled accustations, lawsuits, and bitterness at each other for the last few years momentarily share a little holiday love makes us all warm and gooey inside.
Love followed up the exchange with a series of ecstatic tweets that ran the gamut from sweet to bizarre — but, hey, she's Courtney Love, ok? Nothing, not even the holidays, can keep her from being "kooksmcgee" on Twitter. (Daily Mail)
