Adele Recorded Skyfall In Less Time Than You Need To Shower

For reals. According to Paul Epworth, producer on Adele's 21 and the man tasked with creating the theme for the newest Bond film, our favorite British belter just popped into the studio and knocked out the soaring ballad like it was nothing. "Within 10 minutes, she put down most of the vocals. She had the lyrics ready in her head when she drove over. It was the most absurd thing. She's fast, but it was really quite phenomenal." Boom. Done. Drops mic.
If you saw Bond, you know it was probably the best in the Daniel Craig chapter of the series — and that goes for the song, too. Even though it was recorded in a blink, "Skyfall" is actually good enough to merit a Golden Globe nomination. Theoretically, it could be the first Bond theme to be in contention for an Oscar. Side note: Isn't it sort of a pity that Carly Simon's "Nobody Does It Better" didn't get the nod?

Anyways, even though Adele could be up against Fiona Apple, Katy Perry, and Rick Ross (yeah, that's right), she's got a pretty good chance to win an Oscar, take home a Grammy, and give birth to her first child all within the span of 11 months or so. Yep, she's that good. (Hollywood.com)
