Is Miley Cyrus somehow on the payroll over at Random House? Because a sudden appreciation for Fifty Shades Of Grey is the only explanation we can think of for this recent outfit choice.
She's far from the first one to try out bondage chic on stage, and this is definitely in tune with her recent punk fixation. It's an impulse we can understand, for sure, but the execution leaves something to be desired. It's as if Christian and Anastasia went out to the country for a weekend of BDSM...interspersed with various lake activities requiring galoshes.
We do commend Miley for her determination to break out of the child-star mold. It's awesome that she's exploring her style and pushing boundaries. For us, this look was a miss, but as the old saying goes, it's better to try and fail than to just stay Hannah Montana for the rest of your life. (Just Jared)
