If you'd thought you'd seen the end of Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, think again. The final movie may be on the cusp of release, but an entirely new production is already in the works! The Host isn't officially related to Twilight, but it's definitely in the same vein. Instead of vampires, it's aliens, and instead of a secret battle, it's a worldwide disaster in which all human bodies except for a few people (coincidentally, all of them hot) have been inhabited by aliens and had their memories erased.
Oh, no, sounds super stressful! Don't worry though, Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons are here to save the day with their cuteness, although Diane Kruger is trying hard to stop them. Will her blondeness conquer Ronan's brunette heroism? Will aliens succesfullly take over the entire world? Will this ever be able to eclipse the success of Twilight? So many questions, and exactly three answers: no, no, and probably not. This movie promises some trippy time jumps, great action scenes, and approximately your yearly salary's worth in bright blue cosmetic contact lenses. And, it looks kind of awesome. So, yeah, we're gonna see it. (MTV)
