Okay, requisite joke: It appears that the police at a border stop in Texas yesterday have Fiona Apple feeling like a criminal. And, she may need to be redeemed — but this time, for hash possession, not sinning against the one she loves.
Apparently her legal troubles started in Sierra Blanca, Texas — where TMZ reports Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg also have been cuffed — while she was trying to cross the border. The site mentions that she is currently being held behind bars. While drug possession is nothing to sneeze at, it still sucks for Fiona: If only she were in Los Angeles and committing hit and runs, she might be able to roam free. (Pitchfork)
