Imagine Gwyneth Paltrow hopping on the phone with her old friend Hedi Slimane and being all, "Hedi! What's a gal to do? I've redefined the Hollywood healthy lifestyle, put out a country album, and have legs for miles. I need something to really kick it up a notch." And then, we imagine Hedi saying very seriously, in a smoky French accent, "Gwyneth, mon ami, I will make you your very own bag, and no one else in the world will have it."
Maybe that fantasy conversation didn't exactly happen, but those super-sleuths at

have spotted Mrs. Martin at the airport with a brand-new, chocolate-covered satchel, which was probably made by Slimane just for Gwyneth.

Of course, this isn't the first time a designer made a superstar a bag, but this is the first time Hedi Slimane has shown one of his accessories from his new post at YSL. Refined, luxurious, and surprisingly utilitarian, there is nothing groundbreaking here — but it appears Hedi Slimane is seriously taking the finely tailored, immaculate DNA of YSL to heart. (Grazia)
