Alexa Chung Hops Aboard The Gossip Girl Train (A Little Late?)

Aside from her apparently permanent position as global It Girl, Alexa Chung has bounced through a parade of different gigs in recent years, from a TV show to modeling to a collaboration with Madewell. Now, she's adding actress to the list — on Gossip Girl, no less.

Alexa proved she's still got major style game in a typically cutesy sailor dress and patent flats — all perfectly matched to her striped umbrella, of course. She accessorized with chowed down on a bag of Cheetos and a can of orange soda (breakfast of champions!).

She'll always be one of our favorite British imports, and her quirky style has had a documented effect on our closets. With Gossip Girl in its final season, is Alexa just the thing to finish strong? No word yet on exactly how she fits into the show, but we're very excited to see her take on Blake and Leighton!
