RiRi + RI doesn't just please our love of good acronyms, but the announcement that the megastar is teaming up with U.K. High Street brand River Island has us anxiously awaiting a celebrity-designed collection (surprising, right?). The London-based street-style brand, a favorite to online shoppers and bloggers alike, announced today that it is tapping Rihanna for a capsule collection for spring '13.
Rihanna's style, besides being a mixture of fun and punk is, for the most part, totally accessible. Jean jackets, tied bandannas, T-shirts, and Converse Chucks are the singer's faves, which allows Rihanna fans to easily emulate their idol's looks (her incredible legs, however, are nigh impossible to replicate). An of-the-moment — and affordable — brand like RI has Rihanna's spunk, but won't force her fans to shell out big bucks for (what we predict to be) animal prints, frayed denim, and cheeky British street style.
