Inaugurating a lighter, prettier, easier handbag is nothing short of a spring wardrobe ritual. But, like finding our fall boots and winter coat, the spring bag search comes with a little agenda: It needs to be a decent size, roomy enough to accommodate an extra bikini or a few paperbacks for the beach; it needs to have a sense of fun (purple, turquoise, pale pink...bring it on); and, like always, it can't be too trendy.
