Lucky for us, About A Shoe, a short film by fashion documentarian Douglas Keeve shows us the whole process, from the initial sketch to the finished product. The first installment of a three part series on J. Crew's website, Keeve's camera follows the J.Crew design team (including style icon Jenna Lyons) as they travel to Italy to watch their sketches come to life in the hands of Italian artisans. The vid is a fascinating behind the scenes look at how fashion is made and a testament to the quality of Italian leather craftsmanship. We can't wait to catch the next installment!
