The scene was anecdotal even before clothing was considered—parlor furniture, a wooden staircase, and burlesque-show curtains set the stage for Alice + Olivia's spring '11 line. The right-wing presentation was eccentric-romantic: short hemlines on party dresses heavy with beading, cropped jackets crusted with metallic embellishment, worn denim shorts and bohemian paisley prints.
