This Farmhouse Wedding Is Idyllic

See that smile on Michelle’s face? That’s the smile of a bride who radiates warmth and cheerfulness. It’s the smile of a bride who chose her wedding color story based on what shades would make guests feel happy, and looked to her favorite childhood games, foods, and memories to set the tone. Pretty sure this must’ve been one of the most fun weddings ever for everyone in attendance. Thanks to Tin Sparrow Studio for sharing the photos with us!

Michelle says, "I lived on a farm until I was seven, so that was a huge part of choosing our venue, The Kaaterskill. I loved the nostalgic feeling it gave me and tried to tie my childhood memories into the decor. We actually only looked at one venue and stuck with it because it had everything we wanted."

"I tried to add in fun and unique experiences where I could, and one thing that I was really excited about was our musical processional parade to the ceremony site and recessional parade to cocktail hour," said the bride. "We chose Bibio’s song 'Lovers’ Carving.' We had a couple friends play it on banjo and accordion, and tried to get guests to join in on the singing, clapping, and ribbon twirling."
