"I have these perfectly detailed leather sandals from Buenos Aires with buttery tan leather straps that wrap half way up my leg. I got them four years ago and I’ve beaten them sick ever since. But they have yet to give up on me. I also have stacks of carved brass bangles from Bali that I never take off and a black and white mud cloth and goat-leather bag from Ghana."
